Hue Monuments Conservation Centre was one of the main units of Thua Thien Hue Province organizing many important activities of Hue Festival 2014 such as the Royal Palace By Night; the Giao Sacrifice; the Bat Trang Cutural Space in the heart of Hue Imperial City; the Ornamental Tree exhibition of Three national regions; the exhibition on Impressions and Treasures from the Imperial City and Royal Tablewares; the Photo exhibition of Residences-Relics-Festivals; Hue Ancient Documents; the revival of Royal Health Care Office; the ceremony of gilding Tran Nhan Tong King's statue; the exhibition and installation themed "West Corridor". Various festivities and key events in response to Hue Festival 2014 of Center attracted many concerns and appreciation of the public, which greatly contributed to the overall success of Hue Festival 2014. Specially, the Royal Palace By Night was considered a highlight of this Hue Festival.
The success came from the efforts of the leaders and staffs of Hue Monuments Conservation Centre, the interest and encouragement of different provincial authorities, the active collaboration of the mass media nationwide, the material and spiritual contribution of the Center as well as international and domestic partners.
On behalf of the Hue Monuments Conservation Centre, I would like to sincerely thank to the special concern and active participation of different organizations and individuals for the Center. This contributes to the success of the Center in Hue Festival 2014.
With a series of the activities taken place in a large-scale during a long time in a large space, the shortcomings were unavoidable. Hence, I wish to gain your sympathy and understanding.
I wish you good health, success and prosperity.
Sincerely yours,
Phan Thanh Hải.
